我相信在座的很多同学都有过兼职的经历，一定知道其中的艰辛和委屈，除了我们个人得到了锻炼之外，更多的是有了更深层次的感受，想必在简直了过后，很多人都改变或者改善了自己之前花钱大手大脚的坏毛病吧，因为体验过这种赚钱难的经历之后，才会懂节约的重要性。“谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”，的确，从前的我们也不能够理解，不就是一点米饭吗，浪费就浪费了，因为自己没有体验过这些农活，所以大家也不会知道粮食来得是多么的不容易，包括从前我也是如此。但是在我简直之后，我变得非常节约了起来，在每一个精美的劳动成果背后，我总能够看到背后付出了多少的心血，一份劳动成果是有多来之不易。

也许有同学会问，节能减排，应该是政府和企业关注的事，似乎和我们关系不大。但我要提醒大家的是，身处社会大家庭中的每一个人，都与这件事密切相关!我国是个人口大国，虽然资源总量很大，但人均矿产资源是世界平均水平的1/2，人均耕地、草地资源是世界人均水平的1/3，人均水资源是1/4，人均森林资源是1/5，人均能源占有量是1/7，其中人均石油占有量是1/10。在我们这样一个人口大国，任何事情除以13亿，都会变得微不足道，就像我们浪费的一张纸、一滴水，我们感觉不到其重要性，觉得无所谓。相反，如果我们人人节约一张纸、一滴水、一度电，节约的总量将是天文数字，能极大缓解我国对资源和环境的压力。粗略地计算了一下，我国13亿人每天节约一杯水，可以让我校用xx;每人一年节约1度电，则可以让我校用电几百年。
然而在学校，我们时常能看到这种现象：中午吃饭去了，教室里的灯却都亮着，办公室的人离开了，电脑、电灯却照开。白天，过道里、走廊上、厕所里的灯时常被一些同学随手打开而亮着。教室一体机不用时不关机，习以为常。厕所等处的水龙头人走了水却照流，对“长流水”现象见惯不怪。殊不知这些都是严重浪费能源的行为。面对这些随处可见的浪费能源的行为，我们一定要增强节能意识，从节约一滴水、一度电、一张纸开始，养成节能习惯，倡导节能行为：
1、养成人走关水关电的良好习惯。
数据显示：一个滴水的水龙头，每天就能浪费120公升水;全国的3亿台电视机，即使处于待机状态每天也会消耗18亿千瓦时的电。因此随手关灯，关电扇;电脑暂时不用的时候把显示器关闭;有待机功能的电器不用时，把电源关闭等等，都可以节约用电，避免“长流水”“长明灯”现象。发现水电设施坏了，主动报告给学校相关部门或相关老师。
2、学习电器的正确使用方法。
夏天学校、家里使用的空调，可是一种很费电的电器，使用时如果能关严门窗、经常清洗隔尘网的话，可以节电30%左右;夏季空调温度设定在26至28摄氏度为宜，如果在国家提倡的26℃基础上调高1℃，那么1台空调每年可以节电22度，减排二氧化碳21千克。如果大家都在出门前3分钟就关闭空调，全国1.5亿台空调每年就可以节电7.5亿度，减排二氧化碳72万吨。平时使用节电的产品：如电灯可以选用节能灯，假如100万个家庭如果能把家里的4支传统灯泡换为节能灯，就能减少90万吨的温室气体……
3、节约用纸——校内文件尽量做到用电子稿，会议尽量使用多媒体演示，提倡正反面打印，打草稿用废纸，能够回收的尽量回收等。
一定要做到一纸多用。要知道：少浪费1500张纸，就可以保留一棵树，少浪费100万张纸，意味着节约680棵树。
另外，还应该积极向家长、向邻居、向朋友宣传节约水电纸的意义和方法。建议身边的人一水多用，一灯多用，一纸多用，随时纠正他人的浪费行为。

水，真的不值线吗?节约用水真的不重要吗?全世界的水百分之九十三是咸水，不能喝。淡水只占有百分之七，而能喝的水只有百分之零点八。全世界五十亿人口，就靠饮用这只占百分之零点八的淡水，看，水多可贵呀!我们国家的水资源虽然非常丰富，但可以用的淡水资源却很少，并且随着工业的发展，水污染成了一个严重的问题，很多工业废水污染得臭不可闻，这是多么可怕的一件事啊!

小时候我们都学过这样一首诗—“天苍苍，野茫茫，风吹草低见牛羊”，自此把我们带入对于美好的大自然风光的遐想中。那么的生机昂然、那么美丽和谐，每当接触到了自然中的一草一木，总有一丝丝的温暖与亲切漫过心田。而今，这一幕却看不到了，取而代之的是荒漠化、沙尘暴、酸雨、水资源污染、温室效应、臭氧层破坏。是什么让我们不敢再亲近自然，抑或是自然不再爱护人类？人类应该思索，更要对自然，对地球，对未来负责！几千年来，人类为了自己的生存发展，一直在积极地探索着、奋斗着。
中国的四大发明，西方的工业革命……在一次又一次的社会变革中，科学技术迅猛发展，人类的历史被不断改写，但与此同时被改变的还有我们赖以生存的大自然。随着对自然资源毫无节制的开采利用和对环境肆意破坏。原来地球固有的风貌：蔚蓝的天空、清新的空气，绿色的田野、葱郁的山峦、茂密的森林、清澈的河流、明净的湖泊、湛蓝的海洋，在我们的视野中渐渐远行，越来越模糊，取而代之的是：成山的垃圾、匮乏的资源、股股冲天的黑烟、灰蒙蒙的世界、不断退化的森林草地、肮脏的河流湖泊……地球再也承受不了人类肆无忌惮的开发，她已经为了我们60亿人口的负荷而过早的衰老了，病入膏肓。
作为一名环境保护的一线工作者，我有着比其他人更多的感受。当我在外采水时面对一条条被污染、毫无生气的河流，看到很多排污口仍在源源不断的将污水排入河中，遇到很多村庄因缺水而只能隔天定时供水；在化验室里做越来越多次的污染事故，被自己在地下水中检出氰化物或六价铬而吓到，我想我终于理解为什么说节能减排的“形势严峻”，为什么说环保工作“任重道远”。
山西是全国最大的能源和老工业基地，在全国113个污染严重的城市考核中，有7个城市名列其中。一些地区，主要污染物排放量超过了环境承载能力，水、大气、土壤等污染日益严重，固体废物、汽车尾气、持久性有机物等污染持续增加。79.4%的地表水受到不同程度的污染，全省7条主要河流，基本上都是“有水皆污”，我们的母亲河在流血，在哭泣。据统计，我们省单位GDP二氧化硫和化学需氧量两项污染物的排放量分别是全国平均水平的2。56倍和1。29倍，单位国土面积承担的二氧化硫和化学需氧量是全国平均水平的3.55倍和1.78倍。触目惊心的数字啊！这让我们环保人知道自己肩上的担子有多重，任务有多紧，但对蓝天碧水的希冀和坚守让我们不怕困难，迎难而上。作为环境监测工作者，及时、准确报出每一个监测数据，为上级部门作出决策提供依据，就是我们的工作，认真做好本职工作，就是我们为节能减排所能做的最基本的事情。
我会在日常工作中不断摸索，积累经验，向前辈们请教，多方查找书籍资料，在熟练掌握现做项目的基础上，学习新技术，学习大型仪器的使用与维护，不断提高自己的业务技术水平，丰富业务知识，提高工作效率。我们每个人在化验技术上的一点小进步，将是整个监测站在监测质量水平和效率上向前迈进的一大步，也必会为晋中的节能减排贡献一份力量。节能减排不仅是一种全新的社会经济发展方式，也是一种全新的生活方式。我们不仅要做好日常的监测工作，还要向全社会宣传这种理念，提升全民的环境伦理道德水准。记得去年昔阳一次污染事故，企业主为了辩解自己厂里排放的废水没有污染，竟然用手捧起污水就要喝。这对我的触动太大了，可笑的是他的行为，可悲的是他那残缺的环保意识，肆无忌惮地用落后的生产方式挥霍着资源，污染着环境，而全国这样的人还很多。
让我们从我做起，从现在做起，带动周围的每一个人把节能减排的思想融入到生活、生产的每个细节当中，建立自觉节约能源，保护环境的生活习惯。随手关灯，关水笼头，用消毒的公筷代替一次性木筷，用布袋代替塑料袋，用手帕代替纸巾……节能减排对我们来说不需要高深的理论和高超的技艺，需要的只是举手之劳。
如果我们每个烟民每天少抽1支烟，每年可减排二氧化碳13万吨；如果我们记得在家用电器不用时拔下插头，每年可节约用电20多亿度；如果我们把单面复印改为双面，每年能节省纸张5.1万吨；如果我们把空调的温度调高一度，把淋浴水温调低一度，每年可减排二氧化碳370多万吨……可以毫不夸张地说，我们每个人的手里都紧握着珍贵的“资源”，掌握着对这些民族发展“命脉”生杀予夺的权力，成之毁之、爱之损之在于我们每个人的行动。

屋里的灯开了一天，水龙头的水流了半个钟头，大家对此场景都不会陌生，举手之劳也许大家觉得效用不大，但聚沙成塔，积少成多！节约能源应从身边小事做起。
有这样一句话：地球上的最后一滴水，就是您的眼泪！这并非危言耸听，能源缺乏，大家也并非无所耳闻，非洲每年有无数贫民死于干旱，在中东比石油还珍贵是水，有前车鉴！如警钟鸣！
也许有人会说，那是大事儿，咱没法管，但大事之中却充满了小事的影子，古人云：独善其身，而后兼济天下。地球是养育我们的母亲，我们不能无休止的向母亲索取而不知回报。
随着我校招生规模不断扩大，学校的用水用电量日趋增加，在确保全校教学、科研、生产、生活等各项工作顺利开展的前提下，我们向全校师生员工发出倡议：从现在做起，从自己做起，从身边的小事做起，以实际行动开展节约能源活动。
一、提高节约意识，随手关灯、关机、关水龙头，做到人离灯灭，人走水停，杜绝灯长明、水长流，发现漏水和电器故障及时报修。
二、经常检查家中自来水管路，防止漏水；充分有效利用非饮用水，加大循环利用力度。
三、避免大开水龙头，提倡使用脸盆洗脸、洗手；用完水后，及时关闭水龙头；见到滴水的龙头，及时关闭。
四、在计算机、复印机和打印机等办公设备长时间不用的情况下，请尽可能关闭电源。在人员离开房间的时候，请关闭灯具、空调及办公设备的电源。
五、空调开启时的温度设定稍微高一些（人体舒适度为24℃至28℃），室内、外温差不要过大，充分利用自然通风调节舒适度，这样既让人感觉舒服，又能节约用电。
六、在光线充足的时候，要采用自然光，尽可能关闭照明电源或减少照明源的数量。
七、实验室内不开与教学、科研无关的电器，各部门白天要关闭各楼宇的走道灯和卫生间的照明灯，杜绝开“长明灯”。

现在就来说说我们的母亲河——黄河吧。我曾经看过一篇关于黄河被污染的报道：有市民发现黄河宽阔的河面上竟满满当当地漂着一层黑油，缓缓地向下游漂去，并且有一股难闻的柴油味。根据推算，黄河水面的污染物已经达８６·４公里之长。现在有关领导正在极力抢救这历史悠远的母亲河。

如果人家打电话来是要找你的上司, "may i talk to your manager?" (我能不能跟你们经理讲话?)这时你总不能糊里糊涂地就把电话拿给经理说,说不定人家是打电话来跟你经理勒索一百万的呢!所以通常我们一定要先确定打电话来的是谁.最客气的问法是, "whom i am speaking with?"或是"whom am i talking to?" (我正在跟谁讲话呢?)但是人家一听是像我这种小毛头打电话找他们经理,他们就会用比较口语的说法, "and you are?" (你是?)如果人家这样问我,我就可以答, "this is benlin."
像是"and you are?"这么口语的.英文书上大概学不到,但这却是老美天天在用的句子,只怕你学了之后还不敢用.其实真的不用怕.越简单的句子老美越听得懂.而且事实上"and you are?"这句话还有许多适用的场合,例如在公司的接待处(reception).来访的客人如果说, "i'm looking for mr. wolf." (我要找伍夫先生)接待小姐就可以反问他, "and you are?" (你是?)所以像这种简单又好用的句子大家一定要记起来喔!
3. i'll put her on the phone. just a second.
我会请她听电话,请等一下。
put someone on the phone这个片语就是说请某人听电话.例如你打电话找你女朋友,结果女朋友的同事接了电话,就开始跟你东扯西扯,问你们昨天是不是吵架了啊?什么时候要结婚啦,这时如果你实在不想跟她讲了,就可以说, "could you please just put her on the phone?" (你能不能请她来听电话啊?)反过来如果今天是你接到了电话,结果要找的是别人,你就可以说, "ok. i'll put her on the phone. just a second." (好,我会请她听电话,请稍等一下。）
上面讲的put someone on the phone,指的多半是只有一只电话时,但如果像公司里有许多分机，则用‘转接' transfer或是redirect.会比较恰当。例如同样的情况你可以说，"i'm transferring your call."或是"i'm redirecting your call." (我帮你转接到分机给她。)如果是接线生转接的话，他们有时就只简单地说，"one moment, please."或是， "ok. i'll put you through."
4. would you mind holding for one minute?
你介不介意稍微等一分钟啊?
在美国如果有机会打电话给客户服务(customer service)部门，如果没意外的话都会听到以下的电话录音， "all of our representitives are currently busy serving their customers. your call will be answered in approximate 5 minutes" (我们所有的客服人员都在忙着服务他们的顾客，请等五分钟后，就会有人接听你的电话),然后十分钟过去了, "please continue to hold, your call is very important to us." (请继续等候,你的来电对我们非常重要)。所以大家要知道，老美基本上对这种无止境的等待是深恶痛绝的，所以要记得,如果人家打电话来，千万不要因为听不懂就说， "hold on"，然后就跑去求救兵，这对打电话来的人是十分不礼貌的。如果万不得已一定要请他稍候，我们要客气一点地说，"would you mind holding for one minute?"所以记得要给对方一个明确的时间，例如one second或是five minites不要让对方无止境地等下去。但是如果一分钟到了你还没忙完，则最好再说一次，"sorry, i am still on the phone. could you hold for another minute?" (对不起，我还在讲电话，能不能再请你稍候一分钟。)
5. he's out for lunch. would you like to try again an hour later?
他出去吃午餐了，你要不要一小时后再打来?
受到中文的影响，许多人要讲某人‘出去'吃午餐了常会说成， "he went out for lunch."其实这个went是多余的，通常老美只讲be out for something就行了。如果要再简化一点，单说, "he is on lunch."或是"he is on (lunch) break." (他正在休息时间。)这样子也可以。
如果别人要找的人不在，通常我们有二种选择，第一种是请别人晚点再打来，除了像例句用try again/ call again之外，我们也可以用call back/ try back这样的讲法。例如你可以建议别人，"why don't you call back in 30 minutes?" (你何不30分钟后再打来呢?)第二种选择就是请对方留言，客气一点的讲法是，"may i take your message?"或是"would you like to leave a message?" (你想留言吗?)
