地球她很爱惜这些可爱的生命，她用她甘甜的乳汁喂养她们，用她轻柔的声音唱歌哄他们入睡……渐渐的，地球上的这些蕨类值物茁壮成长，遍布了陆地，后来地球惊奇的发现又多了一种生命，他们能动，能走，能跑，很活跃，与那文静的植物有所不同。于是地球给他们取名为“动物”。
地球妈妈守护着自己的这一对儿女“动物”与“植物”生活得很幸福，每天看着自己的儿子们打打闹闹，追追赶赶丝毫没有无聊的意思。
时间在地球妈妈这飞速运转着，她发现自己的儿女们也长大了，女儿“植物”更加文静，更加内向了，而儿子却相反，“动物”却在时间的雕琢下更威武，更凶残，更聪明……地球妈妈还发现自己的儿子中有一个出类拔萃的物种“人”。人很聪明，他们有自己的思想，自己的领土，而人也在向她索取资源，以供他们自己的需要。地球妈妈真的很爱自己的孩子们，她把自己拥有的东西都给了自己的孩子。毫无保留的给了，无怨无悔给了，因为她把孩子的生命看得比自己更重要。
地球妈妈原以为这样可以满足她的这个儿子，可是事实并非这样。人开始捕杀其他的动物，砍伐其他的植物，这种情况食愈演愈烈。后来，地球妈妈就看见自己的一些儿女灭绝了，她再也看不见他们了，自己亲爱的儿女消失了。“本是同根生，相煎何太急”。
地球妈妈生气了，她给自己的这个儿子许多警告：地震，火山，泥石流，海啸……但人类还在永无止尽的索取。人类把还拉圾，有毒的污染物，工业上的废气，废水……统统给了她。

人在吃腻了大鱼大肉之后，发现蔬菜竟是那样可口，于是人真的像动物一样，追求各种鲜嫩的蔬果。更有越来越多的人开始生吃食物，由生菜到生肉，就像祖先那样茹毛饮血，生撕活拽。动物的本性在人类身上一览无遗，人似乎又过上了原始生活，叫上群居的哥们，去找鲜果，去觅生肉……
找个开阔的地方挖个坑，把自我埋进去，吃点水，然后直愣愣站上半天，可能只会腰酸、背疼和脚麻，人不是植物，不明白植物在土中的自在和满足，只明白自我在土中疼痛难忍。所以，人还是应当回到房子里，种几盆花，在院子里或阳台上留一些草。我们不能生活在土里，就让它们替我们生活在土里。人总是聪明的，自我做不到的事总会让别的东西替我们做。人耕不动地就找到了牛，人夜里得休息就找到了狗看门，人不能每一天定时起床就找到了鸡打鸣。所以，当人发现自我不能在土中生根发芽时，就出现了盆景。
绿色，是充满活力的颜色。当人看到大片绿色时，心中会有一种压抑许久的冲动，那是老祖先留在我们心中的东西，一向在支配着我们，流露在生活的每个地方，如院墙外的几棵树，阳台上的一盆花，碗里新鲜的青菜，玻璃缸里的水藻和金鱼，等等。

当人们乘着宇宙飞船，来到宇宙遥望自己的家乡———地球，是那样的晶莹透亮、美丽壮观，而又是一个脆弱的生命太需要人类的保护和珍惜，珍惜地球的自然资源，如果大家继续无节制地去开采地球的自然资源，那么地球难逃毁灭的命运。还有的人贪婪地说：“等地球的资源开采完了，不能搬到其他星球上去居住吗?”现在科学家已经证明了在地球为中心的40万亿千米的范围内，没有适合人类居住的第二个星球，所以这个科学成果打败了人类贪婪的心理。
现在人们到处在破坏地球，砍伐森林，造成水土流失，洪水泛滥，冲垮堤岸淹没了村庄，这是江水、河流、小溪的报应。还有的人们住在河水的上游把垃圾和化学物品倒入水中，让下游的人们饮用后，产生了水俣病，这种病非常厉害。比如说在日本九州熊本县水俣镇就发生过。1950年水俣湾附近的于村中发现一些猫步态不稳，抽筋麻痹，最后跳入水中溺水死亡，当地人谓之“自杀猫”。就连人类也受到了水俣病军团的威胁。

我们每个人的用电方式和周围的大气环境息息相关。节电既是节能又可以减少空气污染，节约一度电就会消耗330—440克煤当量的煤，少排放1千克左右的二氧化碳和30克左右的二氧化硫。
汽车以燃烧汽油为动力，汽油中含有一氧化碳、碳氢化合物、氮氧化合物、铅化合物等，对大气造成严重污染。近几年，轿车越来越多地走进
寻常百姓家，随之而来的是城市道路的压力剧增，大气污染进一步加剧。因此，从减少污染、呵护健康的角度出发，我们应尽量少用私家车。我们家就有一辆私家车，看了这篇文章，我就会提醒我的家人，尽量少用私家车。

可回收垃圾主要包括废纸、塑料、玻璃、金属和布料五大类。废纸：主要包括报纸、期刊、图书、各种包装纸、办公用纸、广告纸、纸盒等等，但是要注意纸巾和厕所纸由于水溶性太强不可回收。塑料：主要包括各种塑料袋、塑料包装物、一次性塑料餐盒和餐具、牙刷、杯子、矿泉水瓶、牙膏皮等。玻璃：主要包括各种玻璃瓶、碎玻璃片、镜子、灯泡、暖瓶等。金属物：主要包括易拉罐、罐头盒等。布料：主要包括废弃衣服、桌布、洗脸巾、书包、鞋等。
因为通过综合处理回收利用，可以减少污染，节省资源。如每回收1吨废纸可造好纸850公斤，节省木材300公斤，比等量生产减少污染74%；每回收1吨塑料饮料瓶可获得0。7吨二级原料；每回收1吨废钢铁可炼好钢0。9吨，比用矿石冶炼节约成本47%，减少空气污染75%，减少97%的水污染和固体废物。

对于我们小学生来说，在日常生活中，我们从节水、节电、节气等一些小事做起。在节水方面，我们用完水，马上关掉水龙头。我们通常用清水浇花和菜地来洗菜。擦地板，用水洗浴室洗衣服；在省电方面，进出都要开灯关灯。使用电脑时，如果长时间不使用，那么此时可以将电脑设置为待机状态。冰箱里的东西摆放整齐，分好品类。使用时不要转身。电脑、灯、空调、冰箱、风扇和任何电器一旦不用就应该关掉。
手电筒、手机充电完成后，立即拔掉充电插头，使用节能灯泡等。节气方面，当我们做饭做的好的时候，要马上关掉煤气阀门，避免煤气外流；夏天，用煤气、电、煤等代替开水。一个水壶或者一个圆筒装满水，放在外面晒太阳，用太阳能加热，这样我们就可以用温水了。床上用品经常被带到外面晾干，这样我们就可以摆脱潮湿，所以我们不需要烧炕取暖，这样我们就可以充分利用太阳能。还有，我们的纸可以两面都用，用纸巾少的手帕，一次性筷子，纸杯，饭盒，一次性塑料袋，减少食物浪费；还有就是我们可以对常用的洗衣粉盒、方便面盒稍加修改，做成笔筒、缝纫盒等。并用啤酒和饮料罐制作烟灰缸。你不觉得这些鸡毛蒜皮的小事都在为“低碳”做贡献吗？

绿色，是充满活力的颜色。当人看到大片绿色时，心中会有一种压抑许久的冲动，那是老祖先留在我们心中的东西，一向在支配着我们，流露在生活的每个地方，如院墙外的几棵树，阳台上的一盆花，碗里新鲜的青菜，玻璃缸里的水藻和金鱼，等等。
