in a sense weve come to our nations capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked insufficient funds.

but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. and so, weve come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. now is the time to make justice a reality for all of gods children.

下午好，很感谢各位家长在百忙中抽出时间来参加今天的家长会，很高兴能有这样一个机会，和大家进行面对面的交流。今天我想就学生们在校英语学习中存在的一些问题与各位家长共同探讨，以便更好地帮助孩子学好英语，为以后后的英语学习打好扎实的基础。

一、

1抓住起步，向起跑线要效率！

如果孩子小学的英语没有学好，那相对来说，现在会比较累；同样的，如果现在不学好英语，拿奖励啊英语的学习也是不难想象的。初一，是一个崭新的起点，是一个完全可以打牢基础和巩固基础的时候，也是培养学习习惯和学习方法的最佳时期，我认为每个家长都要高度重视这个关键时期。

2、课堂学习方面：

1）听课纪律：课上四十分钟时间非常宝贵，要求专心听课，而有的学生注意力很不集中，太容易开小差，（走神，与同桌讲话，看课外书籍等），老师讲到哪里根本不清楚。

2）发言习惯：学英语，一定要经常读，背，敢于开口说。有的同学上课很积极，巴不得每次老师都能请他回答。但有的学生很少、甚至从不主动举手发言。被迫发言时，声音都非常轻，也不是很自然，大方，缺乏自信。其实，举手发言是很好的习惯，能促使自己专心听讲，积极思维，同时也是锻炼口头表达能力的机会。

3）笔记习惯：俗话说“好记性不如烂笔头”！听课记笔记的能力也是非常重要的，有的语法知识我会要求他们记在笔记本上或课本上，补充一些知识。每学完一个单元就应该进行整理。但有的学生英语书上从来没有笔记，只有乱画的图画。

3、作业习惯：当天的作业一定要当天完成，独立做并按时完成，现在的作业本上的作业多数是抄写单词、听力对话的抄写翻译，写短文。练习册上的题多数应该做得对，但一些题如完形填空、阅读理解题，因为新词汇较多，有的学生读不懂，也情有可愿。但要鼓励他们多动脑筋做。

二、请家长配合老师完成以下工作：

1. 确保孩子每天朗读都英语，至少5分钟。我们要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞。可用录音机放磁带跟读。只有这样，才能产生语感，这是学英语很重要的一个环节。

一、抓住起步，向起跑线要效能

二、抓住课堂，向四十五分钟要效率

现在通过一段时间的学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。“向四十五分钟要效率”，是我读书时的一句流行语，到今天我认为还是很实用。课堂的重要性绝对是“重中之重”，一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，功亏一篑，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，用他们自己的话说：“我听不懂。”听不懂，还不努力，书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事。其实，大部分的学生还是处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率又因人而异，存在着个体差别。尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，我们总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。

三、抓住方法，向好学习习惯要效果

教师是最直接的知识传授者，有着“教书育人”的责任。当然，只有通过和家长共同的努立来帮助孩子学好英语，才能让孩子更好的发挥出他们的智慧，我们要和孩子共同成长。

（1）多听录音。

加强听力训练和说话训练，然后才是读写能力的培养。听说能力差，用英语进行交际的能力差，为此，家长一定要配合来要求孩子，有条件的可以给孩子买个收音机，没有条件的也要创造条件让孩子多听，比如：每晚10点半听听中央12台的CCTV NEWS.多听纯正的录音，听几遍、听清楚了以后，跟着说。不能听清楚的新闻也可以多听听，培养一种语境，让孩子养成一种习惯。就考试而言也一年比一年注重听力、阅读等需要综合能力的部分。

（2）多说英语。

要每天抽出至少15分钟左右时间让孩子读读英语，不管当天有无英语课。我们要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己的口语，也有利于加深印象、巩固记忆。

（3）多背英语。

熟练背诵课文和单词背诵是一项基本功，可以积累一些日常用语，到用的时等候就可以脱口而出。但是在背诵过程中要讲究方法，不可操之过急，要注意分散和集中相结合。我们一般是分段教课文，那就可以请学生分段背课文。等快教完的时候，再把课文串起来背，这样可以降低一点难度，让学生背得轻松些。但是在检查过程中，我们发现有一部分学生背得相当熟练，可问他课文中的某个词组或句子的意思时，他却一问三不知。所以，我们在背诵过程中要注意上下文的理解，在理解的基础上达到背诵的要求，课文中涉及到的相关词组和句型，要让学生熟记，并能用它们来造句、说话。在具体的实施过程中发现：有些学生根本不用心学，能偷懒则偷懒，很多家长比较负责会查问有没有教新课，要不要默写，但孩子不老实，欺骗家长。这时候，你应该及时跟我联系，让孩子知道：欺骗不是办法，也会受到相应的惩罚。

单词亦是如此，分散记忆、根据读音记忆单词都是可取的方法。有时，我们回家布置抄写单词，

其目的不在于抄，而在于提醒学生记忆这些单词。但是在日常学习中，学生不重视这项作业，认为只是抄抄而已，不做也没什么关系，其实他连抄写都不做，根本别说是去背了，结果几次下来，他负债累累，应付不过来，学习处于被动状态，从而影响了以后的学习，出现退步现象。因此，请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业，该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记，及时巩固，养成良好的习惯。

父母亲的良好榜样起着很大作用。孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的，这时，父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大地影响孩子。在默写单词、词组、课文的时候，有些会诱导父母：老师要求在家默写英语，那家长就比较为难，一方面，自己根本不会读英语；另一方面，也只能帮助他作弊了。其实，我们对默写的要求是这样的：单词、词组是要求家长报中文，课文是要求学生自己熟背然后默写的。每周周末回家，整理这周的笔记。在整理的过程中，回顾这周所学的知识，可以起到巩固强化的效果。有些同学做得比较好，每周一的笔记都按时交上来，并整理得井然有序。有些同学就比较马虎，胡乱写几个，应付了事，或者直接不带书和笔记回家，等着周末晚上来抄同学的。这些学习行为都是不可取的。一旦养成习惯，就容易让孩子养成不劳而获的习惯。

各位亲爱的家长们下午好！首先允许我代表各科任老师祝各位妈妈们母亲节快乐！首再次我要感谢各位家长的到来。您的到来是对我们的教学工作的支持，也是对孩子学习的重视。孩子的教育需要家庭和学校相互的配合和支持，作为七年级2班的英语老师，我特别希望能都得到大家的支持，希望您能和我一起帮助孩子学习英语。今天利用这个机会，向家长们汇报我们2班英语学科方面的学习现状。

期中成绩：参考40人，32人及格（72），16人优秀（96分），4人特优（108），年级排名第10（12）。相比较年级其它班级，我们班的特优率和优秀率都基本保持持平（略高于），但是为什么我们的班的成绩会排到年级后列呢？首先一点，试卷上的题目基本都是考前讲过练过了的，如果大家能够课堂40分钟认真听讲并作笔记，参与课堂活动，并在回家后复习，独立高质量的完成各项作业要求，理想分数应该是排到年级前六（三班如是）。但是这次仅仅排到第10名，并且平均分是相对靠后的，这就说明同学们在学习过程中，认真听讲，参与课堂，笔记，回家复习，独立完成作业并未达到要求。

每个在座的同学们认真思考下认真听讲了没有？参与课堂活动了没有？做笔记了没有？反过来，说话，上课完东西，刻橡皮章，看东看西就是不看黑板屏幕，这些现象层出不穷。每次上课最起码整顿一次课堂纪律。回家复习，作业等也不容乐观。每次周末回来交作业就像打仗是的，该补作业的补作业，也有同学顶风冒险将空白本子或者未完成的作业上交，就赌老师发现不了。让大家抄单词的时候哀声一片，让大家背单词的时候钻空子，一听写又陷入死循环，不会的同学继续罚抄，有同学宁愿罚抄也不愿意动脑经去背书。讲练习册时，不管正确与否，只追求一个正确答案，不求甚解，讲解时反反复复就是那十几个同学提问，讲完了，也就收起来了，不会进行及时的反思和总结，并且讲完了还不知道自己错哪里不懂的订正的人也存在一部分。

在英语课堂上，大部分同学都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题，积极跟着老师拼读单词，朗读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象，同学认为自己常常被老师提问，认为自己能够回答老师的问题，于是认为自己的英语学得很不错，自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语，课上占40%，其余的60%还需要同学在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识，当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分同学都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。

我知道，很多家长都是很重视自己孩子的英语学习的，因为英语学习不管是对我们的日常生活还是升学工作来说，都产生着重要的作用，有着重大的意义。而我们初中阶段的教学在于培养学生的学习兴趣，良好的语言习惯与运用英语进行交际的能力及跨文化意识。因此，我的课堂也是围绕听说读写这几个方面对所学知识进行操练和运用。通过一个多学期的教学，我们2班的孩子大多数的孩子自尊心强，上进心强，学习能力也不错，虽然这次考的不好，但是我还是对我们的孩子有信心的。问题来了，大部分的同学学习态度不端正、学习习惯差。正是因为这个问题，才导致以上的情况。

究其根源，个人认为是因为学生安于现状，没有目标和动力，没有竞争意识。

针对以上问题，我向各位家长提一些方法和策略，希望得到各位家长的配合和支持。

1. 督促孩子在家听英语磁带，周末在家每天坚持听读20分钟以上，这将对孩子的学习提高有很大的帮助。

2. 请家长督促孩子在家完成周末作业，以免他们来学校时互相抄袭。有的时候默写或者背诵，我会请各位家长签字。背单词的时候要边拼边写，嘴巴和手都要动起来，嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。家长在这里要作好检查督促的工作，不要用不懂英语来帮助你的孩子学会偷懒，你可以报中文，让你的孩子默写，然后对照书本批改订正，坚持的话，你一定会有意想不到的效果。还有句型，学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。课后还需要通过多读课文，多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词短语的情况，还要让他重视句子的重要性。

3. 每个周末我都会布置阅读作业，请一定督促您的孩子独立按照要求完成作业。得阅读者得半边天。

我们几位科任老师和各位家长有着共同的心愿，都想尽自己最大的努力去培养我们的孩子，他们个个都聪明、可爱，只是有些孩子的潜能还未得到充分的挖掘。今后，我也希望与各位家长共同努力，如果孩子遇到学习问题，我们及时沟通，望家长能够配合解决。我还是那句话，我们的孩子们不是没有学习能力，而是学习态度、学习行为习惯不好，只要我们加强监管，帮助他们形成好的习惯，成绩会上来的。

I often cry with the reason that why I am always in trouble. but as the increcs of age , I know that cry is no use , so I became studying. So, when I came into the Senior Three, I have been felling myself to change mind to it is that studying is an important thing. If you want to be good at it , you must finish the studying quickly and correctly in a sure time, and the most important is that you must know the book well and understand every rule and after that you may do some practice to improve your testing cile .At last you must review them ,because the peoples brain is limited , and it will make you forget all of you have studied it .

my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....

As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.

I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.
